The Bulgarian Center of New England’s National Liberation Day 2020 Celebration on Sunday , Mar 8, 2020 @ 4:00 PM has been Cancelled.

 We regret to inform you that the event in honor of Bulgaria’s National Liberation Day on March 8th is postponed for a later date TBD. The Bulgarian Center and the Bulgarian School made the difficult decision today in light of the most recent developments with the coronavirus situation. In the interest of ensuring the safety of their guests, volunteers and performers and prevent possible exposure, the event will not take place.

Divi Zheni performs at Bulgarian Center of New England’s National Liberation Day 2020 Celebration. - THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED

In honor of Bulgaria’s National Liberation Celebration, there will be a concert of amazing performances of “Divi Zheni” and “Zornitsa” with conductor Tatiana Sarbinska, Valentina Lavcheva, Violeta Koleva, Vesselin Nedelchev, LYA, Zdravka Nikolova, “7/8-mi” and Ludo Mlado. Also, there will be songs and poems about the holiday, performed by children from the Bulgarian school “Sv. sv. Kiril i Metodii”.

BULGARIAN NIGHT AT THE FAC FRIDAY FOLK DANCE

BULGARIAN NIGHT features music by two fabulous Boston-area Bulgarian choruses and orchestras, Divi Zheni ("Wild Women") and the men's group Zornitsa ("Morning Star"), both directed by the renowned Tatiana Sarbinska. Join the Folk Arts Center of New England on February 21 for a wonderful evening of Bulgarian music, dancing for all and refreshments!
